Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and protected when you engage with my psychology services. I am committed to safeguarding your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

I collect personal information that is necessary to provide you with quality psychological care. This may include:

  • Referral information from your GP or health professional 
  • Session notes and treatment plans
  • Medicare, private health, or billing details
     

Personal information is usually collected directly from you, but may also be provided by a third party (e.g. GP, specialist, or insurer) with your consent.

Your personal information is used for purposes directly related to your care, including:

  • Providing psychological assessment and treatment
     
  • Communicating with other health professionals (with your consent)

  • Administrative tasks such as appointment reminders

You may request access to the personal information held about you. Where appropriate, access will be granted within a reasonable timeframe. If you believe any of the information is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request corrections.


Website and Online Services

When using this website, certain information such as your IP address or browser type may be collected for analytics purposes. Any personal information submitted via online forms will be handled in the same confidential manner as information collected in person.
